Do you want to deepen your practice and knowledge of yoga? Do you wonder how to sequence a home practice for different situations? Are you thinking it might be fun to share your love of yoga by teaching? Have you done a teacher training and feel you need to refine your technique? This 45-hour program is designed for all levels of students and teachers. Whether you want to go deeper into your understanding of yoga or are looking for a structured way to improve your teaching, this program is for you.
The class begins with lecture and interaction devoted to learning technical details of the asanas, anatomy, sequencing, what to do when you are sick, tired or injured. The lecture class is followed by a two hour asana class. There will be discussion on the Yoga Sutras and how they relate to you as a student of yoga. You will be expected to maintain a daily yoga practice during the program and there will be homework.
SCHEDULE: This course will meet over four months on Saturday mornings. The class begins with lecture followed by a short mid-morning break. We resume at 12:30 for two hours of asana practice in the afternoon.

Times: Lecture at 9:30 am, Asana from 12:30 - 2:30 pmPRICE: The early sigh-up price for the program is $800 prior to August 15, or $900 after (payment plans available). Lelsie is 500 hour certified by the Yoga Alliance and this program can be counted toward hours for certification. Leslie Howard has been practicing for over twelve years including nine years of teaching, workshops, and annual yoga retreats. Previous retreats have included Egypt, Hawaii, Mexico, and Italy. She has been studying with Manouso Manos and Ramanand Patel for the past eight years. In addition to her 500 hour Advanced Studies program including asana, anatomy and philosophy with Rodney Yee (1998), she holds a 300 hour teacher training certificate with certified Iyengar instructor Tony Briggs (1999).
